Ramadan prompted shopping for our iftar and suhoor recipes and as we carry out our Ramadan preparations, we need to keep in mind the many Muslims who are less fortunate than we are. The act of fasting calls for Muslims to practice self-discipline and sacrifice. This sacrifice helps us to put ourselves in the shoes of people in need. We make a variety of foods and look forward to breaking our fast to enjoy our meals. What about those who are hungry yet can’t have enough food to break their fast?
You can make a difference – brother and sister!
Thank you for giving your support to feed people during Ramadan, where good deeds are multiplied!
The Prophet (saw) said, ‘Whoever feeds a person breaking his fast will earn the same reward as him, without anything being lessened from the reward of the fasting person. (Tirmidhi)
