Iqra Junior School is located in the heart of the Kyangwali refugee settlement in Uganda. It is a lifeline for refugee children, many of whom are orphans, and some are from the grounds of South Sudan, the DR Congo, and Burundi.

Founded in April 2023, for the cause of providing Faith, knowledge, and a brighter future to every child. It stands as the only Islamic community-based school in the settlement. Here, children can learn both secular and theological education to support the minds and souls of children who have endured unimaginable hardship.
