Aid for Survivors of the Bangladesh Flood of 2022

The Cause

Our aim was to distribute food baskets to flood victim-families in Sylhet, Bangladesh. Recent floods and monsoon rains had made living conditions miserable for villagers, and our goal was to alleviate their suffering by providing sustenance. Each food basket included the following items:

10 kg of Rice
5 kg of Potatoes
2 kg of Lentils
3 kg of Pitted Rice
1 kg of Raw Sugar Cane Block
3 bars of Bar Soap
2 liters of Cooking Oil
1 kg of Puffed Rice
12 packets of Oral Saline
1 kg of Cooking Salt
4 dozen Water Purifier Tablets
