We are raising funds to build water wells within poor neighborhoods of Bangladesh, Pakistan, Gambia, Uganda, and Gaza where access to water is challenging. Clean water is a basic necessity and many people around the world are still suffering from a lack of access to clean water for their daily needs. According to cdc.gov, an estimated 790 million people (~11% of the world’s population) do not have access to an improved water supply. Many people die yearly from diseases and diarrhea due to unsafe drinking water. We took the initiative and have created access to clean water in several communities.
In 2023, we successfully installed 1,000 wells, benefiting 4,000 families and 39,000 people. By May 2024, we have completed 2,200 water wells, benefiting 7,200 families and 72,000 people.
