In Kyangwali Refugee Settlement, thousands of children have lost their parents to war, displacement, and poverty. Many sleep in unsafe shelters, skip meals, and attend school with empty stomachs. Others roam the settlement all day with no guidance, no protection, and no future to hold on to. They are boys and girls longing for safety, belonging, and love.
The Zamzam Foundation is dedicated to establishing the ZAMZAM Orphan Center, a secure, faith-grounded sanctuary designed to protect and uplift the most vulnerable children in the settlement.
This will be the first orphanage in the refugee camp, inshaAllah, and Zamzam Foundation is the only Muslim organisation among over 40 NGOs working in the settlement. Guided by Islamic principles rooted in the Quran and Hadith, the center will provide a safe and loving home, spiritual development, quality education, vocational skills, and essential health support.
