Volunteer with us

Give your time

Give your time where it counts: packing Ramadan food boxes, serving at Qurbani and Eid distributions, helping at events and collections, or lending your skills from home.

Ways to help

  • Ramadan & iftar

Pack food boxes and serve iftar to families in need.

  • Qurbani & Eid

Help distribute Qurbani meat and Eid gifts.

  • Distributions

Hand out food, hygiene and care packs with dignity.

  • Events & collections

Welcome guests at dinners and run mosque collections.

  • Outreach

Tell your community about our work at stalls and events.

  • From home

Design, translation, social media, writing or data entry.

How it works

  1. Apply

Tell us about yourself and how you'd like to help. It takes about five minutes.

  2. Get approved

Our volunteer team reviews your application and emails you.

  3. Onboard

In your dashboard, accept the volunteer agreement and code of conduct, and do a short training.

  4. Choose shifts

Pick the shifts that suit you. Full? Join the waitlist and we'll email you if a place opens.

  5. Check in

Scan the QR code at the venue when you arrive and leave. Your hours are recorded for you.

Questions

How old do I need to be?

At least 16. If you're under 18, we'll ask a parent or guardian for their consent by email before your first shift. Some shifts are for older volunteers only.

Do I need a background check?

Only for shifts working with children or vulnerable adults. Those shifts are marked, and we'll arrange the check with you.

Can I get a letter for my school, college or employer?

Yes. Your dashboard keeps your approved hours, and you can download a signed letter of your volunteer hours at any time.

Can I claim my travel or other costs?

Record costs you pay yourself (and miles you drive) in your dashboard. At the end of the year we give you a statement you can use for your taxes.

What if I can't make a shift?

Cancel it in your dashboard as early as you can, so someone on the waitlist can take your place.
