The clean water crisis
In many countries, such as Bangladesh, Uganda and Pakistan, access to clean drinking water remains a major challenge, particularly in rural areas. In Bangladesh, 40% of the population has no access to safely managed drinking water. In Uganda, 80% of people do not have safe drinking water services, and in Pakistan 40% of the population has no access to safe drinking water.
When families do not have easy access to clean water, women and children spend hours walking to collect water instead of attending school or working. At Zam Zam Foundation, we believe that water is a basic human right, not a privilege. Every family deserves clean water, safety, and dignity. Join us in turning hope into reality.
From constructing shallow wells in villages to drilling deep-water wells in drought-stricken regions, your support can provide reliable access to clean water for those in greatest need.
